Rebecca Hall – Associate Principal
Rebecca Hall is a family lawyer at Meillon & Bright. She has a diverse background having held a number of professional positions since graduating from the University of Notre Dame, Fremantle in 2005. After being admitted in the Supreme Court in April 2008, Rebecca worked exclusively in the area of family law. Prior to working at Meillon & Bright, she worked at a number of specialist family law firms.
Rebecca provides services across the spectrum of family law issues but is particularly passionate about childrens’ matters, property settlement and distribution, and surrogacy matters.
She works with her clients in resolving the often difficult and sensitive issues that can arise in relation to care arrangements for children of a relationship. She has dealt with child related issues including:
- International recovery orders;
- Relocation; and
- Allegations of family violence and abuse of children.
Rebecca accepts work as an Independent Children’s Lawyer and grants of aid from Legal Aid. She appears regularly for parties and as the children’s representative in the Perth Children’s Court.
Rebecca has extensive experience in dealing with complex financial matters, assisting clients with their property settlement and distribution after separation.
She also has an interest in, and experience in Surrogacy matters and Guardianship Applications before the WA State Administrative Tribunal.
